A very low turn out today!! Where have you all gone?? A good trade to meet us none the less, but we do need more cattle each and every week. Our trade is a good as anywhere so come and give us a try. Top slots hit 253p for heifers, 210p for Steers. Highest in the lump was £1480 for a heifer, bottom book of 150p for a heavy friesian steer. An overall average of 207p/kg was achieved. Numbers back up to normal levels with the trade finding a new level especially for the stronger ewes
with plenty over the £100 mark. Overall average was £50 with a top price of £140 for a Charolais ewe
from R S & J Gregory, Harmer Hill. 24 Rams averaged £80.50 with a top price of £140 for a Texel tup
from T H Williams, Pont Robert.

A very ordinary selection today with a fair proportion of aged and stale calves and very few quality fresh ones. Consequently trade easier except for the best continental females. Please present your calves at their best to obtain optimum prices.
